Visonic: Agreement With Major Telecommunications Provider and Product Promotions

TEL AVIV, Israel, September 1/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Visonic (LSE: VSC), the international developer and manufacturer of
electronic security systems (alarms) and home management systems, is pleased
to announce it has reached an agreement with another major European
telecommunications provider.

Under the agreement, Visonic will supply the PowerMax+,
its market-leading security and home management system, for sale in 50 retail
outlets operated by this major telecommunications company. An initial order
has already been placed for 500 PowerMax+ systems.

Product Promotions

Nuon, the Netherlands largest energy provider (water and
electricity), in partnership with Gardiner Security BV, part of Europe's
leading security distributor Gardiner Group, has launched a high-profile
television advertising campaign featuring Visonic's products, which has led
to an increase in sales.

Nuon also intends to extend its promotion of Visonic's
products further through marketing partnerships with utility providers, such
as telecommunications and insurance companies.

Both of the above initiatives support Visonic's sales strategy
of widening the appeal for the group's products by seeking distribution
through mass-market channels.
