PostX Executive Keynote Speaker at Leading Security Summit
CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- PostX, the leader in the delivery of trusted electronic communications for businesses and consumers, announced today that Shawn Eldridge, director of product strategy, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming 4th Annual CyberSecurity Executive Summit. The conference developed by the Information Management Network (IMN) will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, on September 22 - 23, 2005.
The IMN is a global leader in organizing educational and networking programs for business executives. Based in New York City, the company is in its twelfth year of operations and manages over seventy events around the world each year.
At this year's CyberSecurity Summit, Eldridge will offer his expertise on the topic of, 'Minimizing Exposure in Communications: Examining the Most Dangerous Breaches in Email, IM, VoIP, and Wireless.' This speaking track will address the security issues affecting everyday business processes, and the vulnerabilities that are prevalent within enterprise network, and mobile email communication.
"Strict compliance standards such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley are now being enforced to help safeguard enterprise network security from hackers and the threats of new viruses. Although this is a step in the right direction email security continues to be a significant matter of importance that is far from having a solution. Our responsibility as security professionals is to ensure business continuity within our industry," said Shawn Eldridge, director of product strategy, PostX. "The CyberSecurity conference creates an environment where like-minded individuals can share successes and offer insight on a subject that challenges us everyday - Email security."
As Director of Product Strategy, Eldridge currently manages both product and business expansion in both U.S. and international markets. Eldridge also plays a vital role in the development of new solutions that will enhance PostX's existing line of signature products, which include the PxEnvelope, Trusted Dialog and PxMail. He helped create the PostX Channel Partner Program, whereby authorized resellers of security products can offer the PostX secure messaging technology. Through this program resellers are given valuable incentives including partnered educational and marketing efforts. Most recently, Eldridge secured the official endorsement of the PostX secure messaging technology as the only compliant email solution recommended by the American Hospital Association (AHA).
Additionally, Eldridge has acted as chairman of the Trusted Electronic Communications Forum (TECF) since April of 2004. He played an instrumental role in the development and organization of the association, as well as recruiting its founding members. With years of security industry expertise and knowledge he was the ideal chairman for the association and its cause - fighting the spoofing and phishing epidemic.
Eldridge is a seasoned industry spokesman, participating in speaking engagements, including ISPCON, Supercom, HIMSS, CTIA, InfoSec, N+I and Comdex.
